Outrageously Unfair

Whatever one thinks of the rights and wrongs of present conflicts there can surely be no excuse whatsoever for verbally or - indeed physically - attacking members of the armed forces in uniform, as happened recently to RAF personnel. Before the Second World War it was quite usual to see men in uniform and there is no reason whatsoever why uniformed men and women should not be able to appear in public and left in peace to go about their business  If they continue there is an argument for making such verbal attacks a specific offence. Assail politicians (verbally I mean) by all means if you think they have made wrong decisions but not service personnel. They don’t decide to enter any conflict.
