Easter Day

A rather grey and, early this morning when we got up, drizzly and misty day. But a lovely day nevertheless and I read amongst barrages of flowers, gold vestments and a huge congregation. The flowers were particularly beautiful  though not particularly spring flowers and that made me think about the first daffodils in my front garden and one picture of these, taken on a sunny day at the end of March, is included to make you forget about today’s weather; some sun is promised for tomorrow when we shall celebrate Easter with a family lunch going on until early evening I expect.
